The first step is a fifteen-minute telephone intake to figure out if we’re a good fit.
If so, we have a free one-hour consultation, in person, where we discuss your priorities and goals. No pressure and no obligations.
If you decide to hire me, I will create an action plan listing all the things we discussed in your order of importance. That will be the start to our roadmap. We will spend our first meeting going through this plan, refining it and adding the things that you’d like to see addressed, resolved or accomplished. Each subsequent meeting will start with this plan, removing completed items and adding new ones.
But you don't need to come to me with a neatly defined problem.
You can simply tell me:
"Here's what's happening."
I'll help you figure out the rest.

No. We are not working together in an attorney/client relationship. Nothing in this website or in our work together should be construed as legal advice.
It is worth noting that I am also not your therapist or your social worker, care attendant or your doctor. Though it may be that our work together helps to connect you with one or more of these professional services.

I listen, ask questions, gather information, and identify the individual issues hiding inside the larger problem. A lot of these details come from our initial one hour consultation.
Then, we figure out what to tackle first.
Not everything is equally urgent. Together we determine what needs immediate attention and what can wait.
Then, we address each issue one at a time.
I research, make calls, identify resources, find the right people, troubleshoot problems, and help determine the best path forward.
For projects that require specialized expertise, I help identify, interview, and coordinate the professionals and vendors needed to move things forward. This might be a contractor, a plumber, a lawyer, etc.
Then, I help keep the projects moving for as long as you need, until the situation feels manageable on your own.

It’s ok! In our work together, we will look at all of the moving parts in your life that are making you feel stuck, understand how they connect, and help you figure out what needs to happen next. This might mean researching and interviewing appropriate vendors for each job or tackling them together, depending on your goals and priorities. It could mean outsourcing some of the work to clear a really cluttered garage, finding a vendor to fix a leaky faucet or rotten deck, working together to make sure you are comfortable using technology in the way you’d like, and doing an audit of your finances and spending to be sure you’re on top of where your money is going.
It could mean working together to finally achieve those long-established life goals and creating the structure and support to make them happen.

My fee is individualized to the client, depending on your need and depth of services. It is a flat monthly rate and I ask for a three month commitment so we have a real opportunity to tackle the things holding you back.

I work with adults of all ages, in all life stages (college-aged, retired, new parents, empty nesters, going through a divorce, unemployed, seniors, grieving the loss of a loved one, etc. ).
I also have worked with adult children and their senior parents as a team, when requested by all parties.

Much of our work is done in person. Clients often request this happen in their home. For home visits, I travel throughout Sonoma County and Marin.
I also have an office in Sebastopol, which is available for in person meetings, if preferred.
I am happy to accommodate zoom meetings as well, though find our best work happens when we are together, in the same space.
